SSD UPGRADE

why my laptop so slow?

Too Many Background Processes

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager → Go to the Processes tab → End tasks that you don’t need.
  • Disable unnecessary startup apps: Task ManagerStartup tab → Disable unused apps.

Low Storage Space

  • When your hard drive or SSD is nearly full, performance drops.
  • Free up space by deleting unused files or transferring them to an external drive/cloud.
  • Run Disk Cleanup (Search for "Disk Cleanup" in Windows).
  • Uninstall unused programs.

Insufficient RAM

  • 4GB or less RAM struggles with multitasking or heavy apps.
  • Upgrade your RAM (8GB or 16GB is ideal).
  • Use ReadyBoost (insert a USB drive and dedicate it to speed up your system).

Malware or Virus

Problem: Viruses and malware can hog resources.
    Solution:
    • Run Windows Defender or install an antivirus program to scan and remove threats

Fragmented Hard Drive

Problem: Data fragmentation slows down file access.
    Solution:
    • Run Defragment and Optimize Drives (Search for it in Windows).

Too Many Browser Tabs or Extensions

Problem: Browsers can consume significant RAM.
    Solution:
    • Close unused tabs and disable unnecessary extensions.
